Playing With Money Guide
So you want to earn money on the internet.
The Playing
With Money guide explains some of the ways that you can do this. Firstly,
we might suggest that you also check out how to earn money for nothing by
looking at
Free Money Resource. If you really want to earn some cash though you
will have to spend some first.
Playing With Money categories
Surveys:
There are a large amount of online survey sites, almost all of which are
free to join. However, finding them takes time and effort. This is where
the surveys section of Playing With Money can help, here we list sites
that offer lists of survey companies for a fee. Some things to keep in
mind here, most of the sites on these lists will contain prize draw
surveys. This means that they offer entry into prize draws for taking
surveys as opposed to other forms of incentive such as cash or a system of
points that can be redeemed for cash. Another point worth making is that
many of the sites will also be US only although there still are plenty
that have a worldwide membership.
Lotteries:
By Lotteries we mean any chance related game that you pay for, including
lotteries, bingo, prize draws, sweepstakes etc. Essentially gambling so
you really need to be certain you wish to play, only use money that you
are prepared to loose and do not expect to win that often. Having said
that, these probably offer the best return (if you win) than anything else
so if you think you are a lucky person then why not go for it.
Business Opportunities:
This section lists opportunities for owning your own business and can also
include services that try to find a suitable business for you. Some
examples of the types of business that are available are Surveys Lists
(buy your own website with a list of survey sites to sell), Selling
E-Books, Selling ISP services, Paid Email and many more. Despite what most
business opportunities say these will require work and dedication but can
be profitable.
Paid to Shop
Self explanatory really, you get cash back for shopping. Usually the sites
will be affiliated with a host of merchants and when you buy from any of
these merchants you get a percentage of cash back. The Paid to Shop sites
themselves earn money by referring you to one of their merchants, the
merchant pays the Paid to Shop site a percentage of your spend and the
Paid to Shop site gives a portion of that back to you. You will have to
earn a certain amount of cash back before you can redeem for actual cash
but if you shop online at all then joining one or more of these sites is a
must.
HYIP:
High Yield Investment Programs are risky but also potentially rewarding.
As the name suggests they offer a high yield against your investment,
sometimes upwards of 200%. There are two main risks here, firstly, a
legitimate HYIP will close as soon as it stops making a profit so there
are always losers in this sense. Secondly, there are many scams out there
pretending to be HYIP which will run away with most the money. We will
probably not recommend joining these HYIPs but will list any we see
anyway. Join at your own risk
Games:
There are places that allow you to play games of skill for cash, however,
you will need to pay for the privilege. Usually you will pay a
subscription to a site that will allow you to play a range of games that
have cash prizes, often against other real players. These have the added
bonus that they are probably fun as well as having the potential for
earning cash.
Poker:
We have our very own Poker site full of hints, tips and guides on how to
play the most popular card game in world today.
Books:
There are plenty of books in print that specialise in showing you how to
earn money online. We list books from both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
Affiliates:
If you own a website then having affiliates is essential. This section
lists both affiliate networks and individual affiliate programs. Networks
contain a number of potential affiliates for you to join so you can pick
and choose appropriate websites to link to from your own. As you are able
to have several affiliates on your site from the same network the earning
potential is increased and you will reach payout much quicker than joining
single affiliate programs. We recommend joining several affiliate networks
but try not to spread yourself to thinly. A good idea is to join them all
and find the ones that offer the most appropriate affiliates for your site
and stick with them.
E-Payments:
Many sites either require payment or pay you via an online payment system.
It is essential that you join PayPal and to a lesser extent E-Gold. PayPal
in particular is widely used and very secure, many sites on the internet
now accept PayPal payments and it is also a good way of paying other
people. Using a credit card via PayPal is much more secure than using a
Credit Card directly.
